A Witches life with Supras
Days were ticking by, Leon was busy, I was busy.. He finally called and said 'Ok, we're going to start her up for the first time, want to listen?' So on the phone .. in my office, I am listening with bated breath to hear my baby. He turned the key, she turned over.... but she wouldn't actually start
Part of me was expecting her not to, she had been sitting around in various stages of pieces for seven months, she wasn't going to be happy about it. I'd also expected a lot of wiring issues as there have been so many toys in her and removed the quick way that I know Leon had a right headache over which ECU's actually were connected to anything and which wires were still valid. I think this was 48 hours before I was due to leave for Germany too and part of me was thinking if I get her back just before I go, I really might pull out of Germany and Jim would kill me! So I said to Leon, don't worry, I am off for a long weekend, so take your time and I will collect her Tuesday morning... 8am, maybe 7 lol [/COLOR]

He is talking about starting her up shortly .. and I am thinking OMG, I could work nights for a week, drive all day and have her run in before Germany, The Nurburgring Trip.. dunno if anyone remembers I went on that, I know I kept very quiet about that too

Yes, they're SFS ones ... you were so stunned with the purple magic you didn't notice SFS splattered all over them at the weekend? lol

Looks gorgeous Sam, that pic with the sun on her really show's the paint off, lets hope the sun is shining again at JAE :thumbup1:

I have been looking at her .. a lot... and I am still blown away by the colour in the sun.. even under the filth of 600 running in miles. I keep plonking Inky on the windowsill and making him admire her .. he isn't impressed, especially when there are blackbirds or butterflies to stare at instead[/COLOR]

The engine bay looks great too.
Only down side for me it the door logo's but that just me although I like the Witch logo on the rear upper arches.
Love to see this car go through a full on detail session the colour would Rock

Second even though the colour looks great the colour will seem to get more depth when it is polish by the pros.
Lots of car that are detailed come out better than when they have come straight from the car manufacturer lines....
Sam car is stunning, the reason i say is two fold first it great to remove all the dust from the car through the dust of the work shop...

Dan_Turism0 forgive my ignorance Ian but why would Sam's 'freshly painted' car need a detail?
When you have a car painted, you need to leave the paint to Cure (paint to go hard) for a few months depending on make of paint, mine i had to wait 90 days before i could wax it.
During the curing process it may slighty effect the finish of the paint so they might have to go over it again
When mine went back to the bodyshop it did not need anymore work done, finish was perfect still
