in theory then yes the oil is cooking longer but as phil says thats why you let it cool down first.
but you want the heat in there as then the gases get hotter, expand more and so more gas volume to spin the turbo sooner and qiucker, cutting down on your lag
when Marcus was running it he said the turbo didnt heat up so i dont see it heating up now as theres more room between the radiator and the turbo itself. if it does have any problems then cermaic coating will help.
Pulsars do, MR2's as well i believe.
But i doubt thats an option as if its anything like mine, theres f all head room under the bonnet
As stav said theres is no room for that. if i mount the turbo somewhere else then it would be alot of work so trying to keep the same position well going to get the manifold, downpipe, turbo, radiator cermaic coated so once the turbo and radiator is cermaic coated wont be as much heat as it would so hopefully thats solves the problem. if not then would need repostion the radiator or maybe a slimmer radiator.
