slam panel looks good Asi and manifold work looks neat :thumbup1:
shame about the bumper, it seems way off, what do you plan to do now then, send it back or modify it?
i was impressed my self with the work on the slam panel. manifold looks good so far.
bumper getting packed tomorrow and get it sent back on tuesday. going to phone EP racing on tuesday see when would they be able to get a bumper in stock if not then i still have the TTE bumper that i can use
fitted the TTE bumper today and the intercooler had to be moved upwards a little bit so now theres even more less space for the fans for the radiator so going to order slim fans today and see if they fit in the space left between the radiator and intercooler. also cut the bumper like stav did so the intercooler could draw more in. will post pics up later
Is it worth getting a separate electric water pump also so your stock one can be "supercharged" should cooling become an issue, pump more coolant faster?? just a thought.
A better reply would have been "good thought PHIL":p
asi well done for all the hard work mate - your car is looking like its going to set a bit of a benchmark for a roadgoing is - i know theres never any definates with projects like this but i was wondering if you had a target date in your own mind to get this all finished, working, sprayed and mot,d etc-im presuming from your rate of progress you would like it on the road this summer ?? also have you looked into insurance yet as i can only imagine the length of the phone calls detailing this one when its all done and im sure you will want it all buttoned up tight after the mountains of time effort and money you are putting into it ?
Thanks Nik. well the car has to be completed before July because its going to the biggest show in Scotland called scottish modified in edinburgh but as the work is going could be completed start of june. it all really depends on how busy the garage is. all that is left now is getting downpipe and manifold made and get it all sent away for cermic coating and while those are away. the propshaft will be getting made and then wiring. after that will be getting the car running etc then painted. well insurance is going to be under the garages traders policy so cool that way.
