I'm using firefox mate, so its not just IE :Shooting:

:Shooting:its doing it even on fire fox..:Shooting:mine keeps shutting the web page down.but it only outlaws as i go onto all the others ok......i've been trying all morning.and this is the first time i got in:Shooting:Confusedcared:

I don't think it's a virus because others are having a similar problem. No harm in running a virus/trojan/spyware scan though.

With Firefox I get the same problem as IE. If I try to login, it comes back to the home page and it looks like I am not logged in. But if I click on the "Forum" link on the left it all works fine - it takes me to the forum and shows me logged in ok.

Ah ok, sounds like you've got an additional problem there. You could always turn off the part of McAfee that flags up problems with websites ?
