Get an old sheet or something to put around the car in the area your working on incase you drop the bar. That way you wont have to throw it away?

if you have light scratches matey, try the Autoglym polish as it's quite good for fine scratches, but the only real way of sorting them out is probably machine polishing the whole car :thumbup1: You'll be surprised at what the car looks like after a good claying over? take your time with the clay and do 1 panel at a time :thumbup1:

yeah i will bandit-now the nice weathers here-i must admit i havent even polished it yet as i figured it was pointless doing polish before clay-i have squirted it with a jetwash twice though

yup looks a bit like the stuff i saw b4 - i guess you clay first then t-cut as opposed to the other way round-oh i hate tcut-i guess the really fine farecla cutting compound will do it easier then t-cut no ???

Are you purely t-cutting to get a scatch out of are you trying to replish the paint work?

Yep clay first to remove surface decontaminants. Wash car again and then use whatever polish - as above autoglym super resin polish is supposed to be pretty good for getting out minor swirls but again it's sitting in my garage but haven't tried it out yet!

Make sure to use some kind of sealant/wax on top to protect all your hard work Smile

I wax my car twice around the next month or so and once in October this keeps the car paint work in first class order throught the rest of the year.

The wax i like to use is Collinite 476 old fashion tin but a great product that not to expensive
