jay@buttonmoon and yes i will guarantee the engine to the extent that i will rebuild it if it dos brake,but i think the only way to brake it at this power is to drop the oil out,and drive.
imo this engine will only brake due to not being looked after propally.i have had it up and around the rev limmit on more than once and the engine is mint.

Even if it lasts 10K (which for me is good enough proof)and needs a rebuild, IS200 engines are only £300 ish and easy to install so its still a good deal. Why re-build? just drop another one in. Same as gearboxes just replace instead of repair again they only fetch a couple of hundred.
For this money you really can't go wrong - but get it mapped by IKE only so you know its proper.

Look guys i dont expect any of you to buy this,as all you seem to do is slate it,and go on about how weak the internals are.
But who hear has broke there inernals then.................
And we all know t * * can brake any thing so they dont count.
so is200 turbo convershons are only for people that have the cash around to buy a set of steel rod and pistons at 1600k thats not inculding the price of the turbo kit.
or you can try and get hold off a 1g-gte that if i dont say my self are as thin on the ground as hens teeth.also then you will have to rebuild you 1g-fe with the 1g-gte rods and pistons,that in some cases the mileage is not known of the parts so they could rattle around in the bores.
i just carnt see why some of you have this thing about the rods being ****???
