Mr Mole Its not that, when you are pulling it you can feal the nut starting to round off.
So I think it will need a bit of heat to get it off.:tongue_smilie:


Are you using a 6 point socket?

I have tried both kind of sockets that I have.
One that looks the same shape as the nut if thats what you mean about a 6 point one and one that looks different :ohmy:

Will griping the drop link with mole grips do it any harm ??

I can now get the whole thing to turn.
I have tried holding it with an allenkey but I cant move the nut with a spanner only when I use a socket will it move so then you cant use an allenkey to hold it.
Just dont want to break it :ohmy:

I'd just nip it down to the garage then they'll have tools necessary to get it donw so you don't potentially become car less.

The main thing is the wheel arch is nice and clean now though :tongue_smilie:
