Whilst 95% of her is new I do not forget she is almost twenty years old and nor will I forget she has the potential to be very dangerous

If I'd spent £25k on a car, I'd expect to be able to turn it up to 11 without it exploding.

I am not just concerned that any of the hundreds of new parts I've had (for the second time as one brand new part has already failed) might fail, I've also only really done 2000 running in miles in the last year and a bit and she is much much more powerful than she ever was before. She needs to settle into regular use and as has been said above I need to get used to her again, she is far more responsive and quick to pick up.. that equally makes her far more likely to do what supras do best when they can't get their power down.
I very much doubt you will find anyone who has spent a vast amount of time, money, blood, sweat and/or tears building a car has started it up and ragged it down the road instantly... if they have, they won't have done it twice ! [/COLOR]

I could if I was a machine.
If something is going to break under stress at 1.2 bar of boost (or whatever), it's going to do it whether you run it in or not, surely? A weak part is a weak part. You can't exactly play eye of the tiger to your 2j and give it 3 weeks to build bigger muscles. I can understand doing a few runs before you go flat out, just to limit damage if something breaks lower down the stress levels, but after that, it's a machine that either is or isn't going to explode at full throttle surely?
If I'd spent 25 grand on a car which then blew up immediately if I put my foot down, I'd want a refund.
