A Witches life with Supras
A Witches life with Supras
wow what a awesome read saved me from lots of boredom today and for that i thank you so so much ......the car looks amazing and the colour suits the car down to the ground i can see a lot of love and affection has gone in to this car and it really really shows keep up the amazing work
Buckinghamshire? You're local...? Come to our local meets and see her
Bedford? 2nd Sunday of each month.
Wow - been ages since I have posted on this.. well supras being supras, not much has happened really. ((Suki, bronze NA and Sachi, purple beast - incase it's been so long you've forgotten)
Suki, still my daily, sailed through her MOT again - she is a diamond and no-one in the test centre smashed her up this year! She gave me a scare yesterday when she developed a flat tyre. They're big and wide wheels so no spare and her tyres are only four months old £300 each so I wasn't keen on having to buy another. Turns out it was just the valve stem worked loose so it's tightened up and she seems to be accepting inflation is up again!
Made for a terrifying day yesterday as I had to drive Sachi to work, I am not yet comfortable with leaving her in public carparks yet so I was a bag of nerves all day, especially as the car park is full of 17 yr old hairdressers one of whom has her wing mirror held on with a garden gate hinge!
Sachi well.. she had a few hissy fits last year.. Japfest she decided to burst her power steering pipes and Japshow she decided she didn't want her undertray anymore .. but so far she hasn't blown her new engine so I am seeing her a a good girl.. although I suspect the gearbox is about to tell me I am running more power than we hoped we'd turned it back to
I have bought her some purple engine pulleys from Garage Whifbitz but yet to get them fitted. Dan_TurismO kindly got me some smoked side repeater covers a while back and Racestyle fitted them for me along with a few other engine dress bits but not a lot else has happened .... EXCEPT... !!!
Driftwing.. !! I have wanted one for ages and ages and finally got the opportunity for a discount so Sachi has one. They are very love or hate and especially amongst the supra community but I love mine. Although when I went to the bodyshop to get it fitted I was not so keen .. until she went outside! The feet are colour coded to car, the towers silver to match the writing on her and the carbon fibre blade I wanted a purple lacquer on. They did get a bit over excited with the lacquer and thought I meant make it PURPLE... but the layers can be polished off and they will do it but for now I am making the most of this driving weather!
Anyway hanging around today for the tyre man, I decided to pamper Sachi a bit .. so here's some washed, polished, waxed and I'm knackered now pics lol
Never really been a fan of drift wings, but she is a stunning car, the colour is great in the sun
I think I'd have to see the "Drift winged" car in the flesh (..... Erm, Metal?) before I could make up my mind if I thought it was uber cool, Or dribble stool !
But as it would just be MY opinion, It doesn't really matter does it........ It's your ball, So it's your rules kiddo (My MX5 was a real "Marmite" car over on the MX5OC, But I didn't care. I liked what I did to it, and as far as I'm concerned, that's all that mattered).
