ormi I have a huge list to do... The worst bit is it's going to be gleaming only to drive 5 hours and will prob be manky by the time I get down...Dave your in the same boat...

I have a huge list too, and it's looking like about 80% of it will not get done before JAE! Also in a similar boat, with 3+ hours drive, it's not gonna be clean when it gets there, no matter how clean it is before I leave. Less of an issue for me though, as my general paint is less than mint, and won't be entering the show and shine anyway!

I know that was a joke, but on a serious note, NEVER WRAP YOUR CAR IN INDUSTRIAL CLING FILM! I once wrapped my mate's car, all around, over the top and under the bottom, the thing was sealed! She threw eggs and flower over my Celica while it was in my work car park, this was in retaliation! I then placed several traffic cones on the roof, and plastic barriers around the outside of it. This was late at night, and she was quite surprised when she discovered it the next morning. She laughed at first, but soon stopped laughing when she unwrapped it and it took some of the paint off with it! Her car was less than a month old too, though it was only a Ford.

And that's my mate Bryan's car - it's certainly not industrial clingfilm, presumably the stuff you find in the average kitchen is less of an issue for the paint :lol:
