Just a little update Bought some koni's for the Z

[Image: 30997498-4FD6-4E1F-9BF2-EB21C521EBFD-330...BD1D19.jpg]

These will be going on shortly also found a cool little jap style number plate keyring with 260z on it I'll post pictures later. Not alot of works happened on the z lately as it's been ******* cold and short days but it's started to warm up so it's on like donkey kong.

A little update

A picture of the keyring I got that I thought was pretty cool and...... Undecided on this driving lights or better known as wanker lights.

The original sealed units are shocking I mean they are proper **** and this help a great deal when it comes to night driving all for a very resonable price of $5 delivered from China.

Any way enjoy

So finally got round to having some time to fit the uber expensive koni adjustable struts

Everything was going so well. 37 year old car you would expect a few rusted on bolts and a few shared ones....... Nothing

Everything came off as if it was new almost.

Managed to take the old cartridge out that was completely ****** slipped the new one in and......

Wrong pudding size. 100mm short

See photo.

So ****** off.

Konis are the yellows obviously!!

And the strut tube.

There for a 300zx

I have to find some way to space it 100mm

**** it I wants to drive it today lucky I didn't rego it other wise that would have been a waste of money too

Cheers.

The shocks are all good as it turns out. I've spoken to koni Australia and although it sounds a bit back yardish. There words not mine. I've got to make some spacers up.

So I'm actually getting some machined to fit the strut leg and the bottom of the strut as it not flat but tapered. This will give a snug fit and let them worry about engineering a spacer the right size.

Not cheap though $100 a side.

As for the DRL I personally don't like them but I just can see jack **** at night. When I say it pitch black I mean I can see the ******* Milky Way going across the sky like a rainbow it's that dark, so to avoid that kangaroo jumping out at me at the last minute there staying.

Ps I've tried changing the lights actually have H4 in there now there still ****. There are HIDS but unless there lens is correct its straight down regency and good bye 260z.
