lovely new front breaks fitted today - thanks to Toxo getting the parts.

Had a good look under the car whilst it was up in the air and it all looks good:thumbup:

Hi mate, just to let you know we are taking good care of the car, it has run me around daily and never fails to turn heads! It gets polished weekly, we have replaced some of the little bits of interior trim that were broken and sealed the roof on one corner as it did leak a tiny bit, and we are having new discs and pads today.
The stereo is all fitted and sounds superb, the sub behind the passenger seat gives them an exiting ride when I crank it up.
I'm really sorry your new house didn't happen..............can't wait till the summer to really show him off, maybe now you can spend that money on another project?

Ah like the inner door surrounds you mean? something i always planned to do but never got round to it, nice to see you guys have though as shows dedication to detail Big Grin, As for the roof i never had a problem this year allthough as you know it was parked pretty tight in my bay so maybe that helped but glad to hear all is well..

As for the money tried to stay sensible and payed off a loan but still wanna keep the saved funds up as still moving soon as something else comes up as really wanna move still.. Allthough did get rid of the mrs/daily car a few weeks back and got a ctr to play with a bit but its not quite the same and dont really intend on doing alot to it, Tbh i think in the future when i can afford it ill probably end up back in a mr2 as since selling it have kinda realised just how nice they are to drive and how quick they are compared to most things

We lowered the T-Bar locking points and it still leaked, so we then used the clever mastic trick and no more leaks:p Ever since its been completely dry.

I had the eccentric rod guides done and it used to let a drip or 2 in still but last year i did the clingfilm and black mastik stuff and it was sound all through last winter etc so i think thats pretty much the best method then..

Yea, got a local company to do it going in tomorrow.

Your man gave me the exact paint requirements so should be a perfect match.

For those who don't know the MR2 was scraped by some IDIOT in a car park, only a little bit of damage on the rear n/s wheel arch/bumper and also an alloy was damaged. The paint is a 3 layered pearl so you need to know what went on before to match a new layer of paint? does that make sense????

The paintwork on this car is a NIGHTMARE to match - MK Panel and Paint (the local "go to" place for paint and supplies) don't even have swatches of the colour. Grrrrrrr not happy.
