Another new car!
Another new car!
Ian I really do not know what to do with it, it cost so little and its on a classic car policy that cost £111 per year or £11 per month, so it cost nothing to run, and with it capable of up to 40 mpg, official Toyota mpg figures it makes sense to use it more as a daily driver.
The money I save in fuel instead of putting it in the Lex will pay for itself in no time.
But on the other hand it is in such good condition and being the first GT classic it could fetch serious money if I sold it on.
Really really dont know what to do with it. as I bought it because it was such a good car to let go.
The idea of keeping it as Oli's first car makes sense, it'll probably be cheap to insure even for him due to its age.
Having said that if a quick clean up can give you a return of thousands it's well worth a punt
And keep going guys, this little car is a beast, I would have it any day!
Phil01 The bottom line is this car is in such pristine condition, got 88k on the clock, every M.O.T certificate from the age of 3, a full service history filling up one book and on to a new one,
The original sales invoice, not a single spot of rust, immaculate paintwork, superb condition alloy wheels, new cambelt, rear exhaust battery full service, brake fluid change, coolant,
immaculate interior.
A real untouched true classic for the sum of £250, seen the ae8g on ebay selling from 4k-7k,
so it would have been so silly not to buy it.
