Well the Carbon Fibre arrived on Monday and this is the result..

Well was a little bored this afternoon :bored: and spotted something in another post. So I got the dremel out and this was the result....

It takes a ****** long time!!! It doesn't help that the manifold is not smooth so all the **** and dirt is ingrained. The left pipe has taken 45mins and still isn't finished!! And I've gone through 3 x metal brush heads for the dremel!!

If you can remove it, it would be easier then you could get at it properly or paint it.

It does seems a long time, but you've gotta take your time like I said before its a grainy surface and you've gotta move the brush head around to remove the ****! lol

Was thinking of trying Brasso or autosol on it, but not sure of the heat implication...
