Possibly so mate. A good point. Premium fuels claim to keep injectors and fuel systems clean also.

They do , but also manufacturers say which fuel to use - putting in premium when normal is needed is a waste.

i was told that if its a new engine and has had regular oil changes then it does no harm putting the engine flush in, but the only reason for doing so is to speed up the drainage.

BUT, if you have an older engine that may not of had the oil changed regular then you will have hardened deposits in the engine that are best of staying there as if you use the flush, it loosens them and if they dont drop of during the draining process they can fall off whilst the engine is running. which obviously is bad.

As i only know the history of my car from when i brought it i have no idea what the inside engine condition is so i think im gonna pass on the flush. Unless i had it done professionally where they guarantee to clean it thoroughly and leave no deposits behind!
