Some more pics for your perusal...
Turbo as it arrived, with new gaskets for oil and water feeds.
Closeup of the exhaust wheel. You can see where they've shaved a bit off for balancing.
Inside! New seal plate
Closeup of the compressor wheel, again you can see where it's been balanced.
However I'm a bit concerned that there's too much up-down-left-right movement in the shaft. I don't know if that's just cause there's no oil in there right now. I've videoed the movement and will double-check with the turbo bloke before it gets reassembled. Probably looking at a fortnight before that happens, as I have only just sent off the exhaust housing for coating.
how long you reckon before shes back otr
getting there now mate

Not sure mate, could be a while yet. I've got an event on the last weekend of the month that I'd like to attend but I'm not too hopeful!
I got the injectors back today but I think they've given me someone elses paperwork... it says they're side feed when they're clearly top fed and says they flowed 78cc when they are meant to be 540cc injectors... ? IT says they were flow tested for 15 seconds at 50% duty cycle... 78cc * 2 to make 100% duty is 156cc and that * 4 to make 60 seconds is 624cc... confused!
Not Brilliant? It's gorgeous ... I want I want I want ... shame my turbos are very buried, this looks amazing
toxo I have done a few more things now:
Bought all new gaskets, studs and nuts for head -> manifold, manifold -> turbo and turbo -> downpipe. 3 gaskets, 19 studs and 19 nuts! NOT CHEAP.
