Project Stealth: the second coming
Project Stealth: the second coming
What a day today....
Got the front springs replaced, what a ballache that turned into, then nipped out to the Bedford meet with some outlaws and finally returned to fit the front discs and pads.
I also had a proper drive with good suspension and working brakes - so I could actually BOOST! Only 0.5bar as a start, but man I have missed having a turbo so much!
As Pete has put a LOT of work into getting it where it is so far, I let him have another drive - one of many I suspect

looking good! Also, get some pictures up of the hilarious wiring and 5 yards of garden hose in the engine bay
We tidied it up a little for the MOT - but rest assured, I will be taking the pics of the offenders ASAP!
It was good to see you and Pete today mate, I won't be around for a while!
Glad it's sorted mate. MOT then lots of polishing for Jae.

Did a few little bits today, cleaned up the interior (no hoovering or proper polishing yet as we still have LOTS of wiring to do), fitted (but not wired in yet) the clock and cubby hole, re-attached door cards, properly mounted tweeters.. and a few other odd jobs.
It's all coming together on the inside now... just the outside and engine bay to sort still
cant see if you have one of these or not mate, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/mx5-eunos-roll...19d4404811
I don't mate. It came with a 4 point carbing cage - but I took it out and sold it as it restricts seat travel.
I will get a style bar at some point (like the one you have linked perhaps) - but that's a long way down the road
just thought your list was in need of making longer
