KPARRIS-JONES No, the 20 Valves are more than capable of 240BHP without being FA's Smile

The 4a-ge motors and I are old friends (having owned a [Image: DSC00097.jpg].), and although ITB's are great these 16v motors with the right internals can produce apocalyptic power with the right turbo setup, please note though i said the 16v motors, allas the 20valve motors were ok with forced induction but not as reliable as the 16v, one of the most common setups at the local drag races in South Africa was the 4AGE 16v turbo and these beasts produce well over 500WHP! with the right parts, its was trully scary to see what these motors were capable of when enough cash was thrown at it.

Been ages since i updated this thread, after the engine blew i did a complete rebuild of the bottom end.

All these shiny new parts went in

[Image: 25F49E3E-FE49-4ADD-9BC6-1EBF9F95C3F4-475...4717-1.jpg]

Whilst the engine was out figured i'd tidy up the engine bay with a respray.

[Image: 58D9AF59-4B9E-4D04-AA3D-4006BF411640-197...BEDBCF.jpg]

Engine back in and nice and clean.

After around a month off the road i figured it deserved a nice photo after being reborn :w00t:

[Image: 8873D564-5231-4A41-9169-E9B6F9948B02-197...FD7F99.jpg]

Ran it in for just over 1000miles oil changed every 500miles. After it was run in i took it down to Wales to give it a proper shakedown on the back roads. Car performed faultlessly so really happy with how the rebuild went.

So yeah thats whats been happening with my Levin, She's all back in perfect health. Future plans are just tidying it up a bit more then doing some light engine mods, Custom CAI, Custom Manifold, Decat and possibly new exhaust.
