Dark Samurai So you're getting it ported?
Yes mate its being street ported :-)
It was extremely quick i called them yesterday and due to a mis understnading they hadnt started. They called me today and its all stripped and assess they have started the rebuild and as soon as i drop off the new manifold then engine cam go straight back in :-)
Cant wait to have it back i have missed it a lot 1000 miles running it in is gonna hurt tho lol

Yes mate its being street ported :-)

If an engine is that easy to take apart, you can't help but think they knew it would need to be...
Looking forward to seeing this engine transplant/refurb complete though

Yeah ot does make you wonder lol, i was going to do it myself but felt having the warranty would be a far bigger benefit to me.
Well i have a lot more plans but this has meant i have had to delay them a bit but will be getting some videos of it when its back as even before the manifokd was fitted it made a glorious noise lol

23-03-2021, 06:14 AM #59I think a supercharger would be a good bit of kit on a renesis. There is a kit available somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it out. I found a very interesting build thread for an NC mx-5 with a supercharged renesis engine in and it had plenty of area under the curve

Yeah i have seen the kit and was quite tempted never had a supercharger so may have to try it just not as big a fan of them as i am turbosn, i miss the sound of a big turbo spooling up
