Hey guys (and gals) its been a while and some work has been done but nothing major the work so far, has been the wheels, the cable tidy job in behind the dash, a new stubby antenna, soon i'll be redoing the interior with some nifty Leather replacement items with colour coded stitching using red accents so stitching will be red as well January will be placing my order for my sound, which i'll be doing custom fibreglass install for it, going for a Vibe only system, Its just going to be a Vibe sub, amp, and cap with a Doubledin JVC head unit to start with but then i'll ad a component system up front with their own dedicated amp for the fronts, I will also be buying geniune Altezza bumpers from one of my local breakers yards and just colour matching them with a rattle can. may need to get the side skirts as well will see if i can get away with not having to. Will post pics at a later stage...
As mentioned above it been a bit quiet from me but i have been doing a few things, the holiday season saw some 6000K LED DRL lights being ordered, The sound has been ordered and a few other small things have been ordered as well, I haven't posted any pics yet but they are coming, i'm waiting for all the stuff to arrive first so i can get installing, and once that can happen i'll start adding pictures to the thread the sound should arrive latest Monday but can't install it yet because i have to purchase the fibreglassing stuff and build the box, i'm not going to worry about smoothing the box as i'm going to cover the box in the usual cloth for that stealth look, oposite the sub enclosure i will be fibreglassing a mounting spot for the CAP and amp so all should look really good, will start posting pictures as stuff arrives...

Well as promised I put together a little slide show of the pictures of the Sound system, i also have a few items that will be installed, but i will not be revealing this as i still need a few parts before i can install everything, call it a surprise for now... but i only need a few parts to install it:merrychristmas:

So i broke out the fibre glassing kit and laid my first layer yesterday, i forgot to take pics of the first few steps but basically i just followed the same steps as in most good video's on the tube, laid down a decent layer of painters tape or Masking tape and then put foil over that with a re-enforcing of more painters tape on top of this i painted on some resin mix until it got tacky and then laid the fibre glass mat in different size strips making sure to cross and then went over that with more resin mix using a 2 inch paint brush to "dab" the resin into the mat and this is the result:

Will add the next layer after work today if the weather holds out, will post more pictures as i go will purchase the MDF for the sub rings pay day and will finish the fibre glassing then as well
