Up to you, I'm not fussed we just need to figure out what's happening before I pick her up?

Whilst I'm at it, what are your thoughts on cutting out after booting it.. only happens when I get on boost then put the clutch in. Devs keep dropping until it cuts out rather than going to idle. Rogue say unlikely to be o2 sensor, possibly throttle position or maps sensor. Thought I'd throw that at you :p.

I just thought that as my intention is to claim from the recovery company, it may be difficult to do that if I'm no longer in posession of the car Sad Although I could always knock a bit off the price and then try and claim that back from them instead.

Could be IACV? Or yeah, TPS or MAP sensor.

I guess it depends on how long it would take to claim back? Maybe its best to contact them and explain the situation. Depending on the response go from there.

I'm waiting to get yours so I can try the different sensors.

Here are the photos of the damage to the front bumper. It's minimal but so infuriating.

Smart repair?

"Life's goal is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But, rather to skid in sideways........
totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

2tongues Smart repair?

We've come to an arrangement.

I know I put this on Facebook yesterday but I feel I should close the thread off with it too.

I've owned the car for almost exactly 5 years (5 years and 13 days I think). In that time I've done 37,000 miles including the pilgrimage to Le Mans 4 times and Duderstadt twice (those trips are 6,000 miles alone). I've met loads of new people both through here and the MR2 clubs (and also lost a few but that's another story). I was there for the world record at Silverstone. The car has twice been selected for the car show at the Le Mans chateau, and was OJC car of the month in July Smile I've also had some moments to forget including a 3-car pileup in the fast lane of the M1, a €750 fine and 3 month driving ban in France, and the less said about Belgium the better. Not to mention sinking upwards of £15k into the car personalising it, or the £13k in fuel

Today it goes away. Bye bye MR2 Sad

Could a mod close this thread please?
