what's wrong with child labour, start them young and keep them off the streets.

Marsdendean I dont fancy spending £1000's of pounds, and letting a kid do all the work!!

My son is only 7 years old , all he is doing is showing a bit of enthusiasim and posing for a photo dont see any harm in that

What's the idea behind the new inlet manifold ? Presumably to do with producing more bhp etc, and not being a limiting factor ?

What do you SPC guys see as the limitations of the OEM inlet manifold ?

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

bigger intake = more air = more fuel gets put into the engine, there for giveing more BHP :thumbup1:

Q! is this 550hp at the fly? or at the wheels?

keep up the good work guys, i hope this is going to be at JAE

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]My Old IS200 V8 Turbo
* HKS BOV * HKS Turbo Wastegate * HKS Air Filter * DBA Gold Discs F/B * T4 turbo * Custom made 3" Exhaust to Turbo * Kei Office Coilovers * strut brace * Custom Rad & Pipes * Custom Intercooler & Pipes * Custom Manifold,s * Custom Fuel Lines * Custom Turbo Housing * Thats some of the items on the car, to much to list.

Yeah, of course. But what's the expected overall impact ?

For example, the IS200 has an inlet manifold which has a motor to change the length of the inlet tract depending on revs etc. This helps it develop more torque low down (and I suspect that the cross-over point is what a lot of people mistake for VVT-i "kicking in" at around 4000rpm). So will the new inlet tract develop more top-end bhp but at the expense of low-down torque ?

Of course these might be rhetorical questions at the moment, since it's a new item and has only just started testing. But just thought I'd throw them in there

What do you SPC guys see as the limitations of the OEM inlet manifold ?

The flow bench indicatesthe Std Head is good for over 242 Hp . The restriction is the manifold followed by the Throttle body
With the modified Big valve headthe potential is approx 290 + but is hampered even more so by the manifold , This is has been tested on Na engine .
