Project: DIY Supercharger
Project: DIY Supercharger
Been doing a bit of drawing work so I'm more prepared once the cradle arrives, got the outlet flange drawn up. Just need to print it out 1:1 so I can check I've definitely got it right, and then need to finish of the intake flange...
EDIT: Just updated the drawing to have thicker lines as it was hard to see.
Spent a bit more time with the verniers and computer tonight, managed to draw up the exact positions of the mounting holes, none of which are square to anything on the charger, they are all just in random places. And also positioned the outlet drawing I already did in it's actual location relative to the cradle holes. I also added the ports inside the outlet just for refference too.
So once/if the cradles are made and if I got hold of a charger then what about the other bits that are needed? What about pipework etc? Would this need to be custom made?
So if I was looking on ebay , what merc charger should I be looking for , as in what car would need to be breaking so you would know that it was the correct one ??
there you go, also on the CLK's apparently.
