The car hunt begins.........
Personally, I'd rather buy a accident free car (older car?) instead of a crashed car and tyring to repair it.
It doesn't have satnav, only 05s had nav as standard (and this one has the little lever to open the box and no satnav controller by the gearbox)
There's something weird going on though as on my screen that car is clearly gold, can't be confused at all with silver or grey as some of you are saying :tongue_smilie:
It's not damietta quartz either, that's a greeny gold, this is the proper gold - think it was called amberley gold or something like that.......personally I hate gold with a vengeance but I think that was saraj's preferred colour so this car could be a winner as long as the front end damage is minor.
Amberley Gold isn't an IS200 colour though, is it ? Here's an IS250 in that colour :
Kodiak Sky is a sort of bronzey-gold though, isn't it ?
Yep not sure on the name, but that or a very similar colour did exist on the IS200, and from the pics it looks like that car is in that colour.
Kodiak sky is a silvery grey (very similar unsurprisingly to BMWs "silver grey"), there's not really any gold in it at all.
One of the paint codes for the IS200 whose name I couldn't work out (for this thread) was 4R4. Looking at this again, it seems to be "Savannah Metallic" or "Savannah Beige" in some places, and it could be the colour in question.
Maybe he was the reason they did the limited edition yellow one then?
@Steve: That could be the one actually, I really can't remember what it was called.
its Damietta Quartz to me, when in person and looked at it,
Front bumper,
Bonnet,
Passenger Side wing,
Driver side door
All need repairing / replacing, so can be very costly. Dont think its for me.
No sat nav as well.
yh Damietta Quartz is my fav color it even beats white, just love it and sticks out from a mile away.
Will keep on searching I think
Quite a lot of damage then? Yep prob best to walk away then as you could easily end up spending the same as just buying a non-damaged one.

Saraj yh thats what i thought, my cousin tried to convince me in saying it would cost about 400-500 to repair, but that would not be a proper repair,so not going to bother.
If one came up like this in a older reg like 1999 or 2000, and same amount of damage depending on price and history i would be interested.
