Lol @ Jason Big Grin

It's just as well I've got a good drive down to bring it home. I'll probably be driving like Miss Daisy at first until I get used to it

If your car turns up clean at the Ace meet mate, you'll get told off as we'll know you've not been out all night driving it

The extra 100bhp is a great upgrade and you'll probably find that the gearbox is so much smoother and adds to the driving experience, when i fitted the SC to mine the box was great having that extra power going through it, so much smoother and the gear changes lost the clunky feel to them

I thought it was just me with that effect, strange how a few extra BHP improves a car like the IS200

Its one of the things a really noticed and made the car so much nicer to drive  Never had the silly judder on take off either after the SC was fitted, which was great :thumbup1:

I've got quite a few new things to get used to. As well as all that extra power, there are new brake discs/pads/brake lines. Then there are coilovers, but those have adjustable damping so I can fiddle with the settings. Will be driving back with a boot load of old bits for the car, so that will alter the handling somewhat anyway.

Then I have a new clutch and lightweight flywheel. Charlesworth have noticed it needing more revs to get away, though they think I will get used to it. I have a backup plan of changing to another OEM flywheel if I don't like it. I didn't buy the flywheel for the light weight, I got it because the existing one was very juddery - interesting that more bhp fixed your one though Chris !

When I get the car back I can at last finish off the gauge pod. Right now it looks a right mess, since I was in the middle of hacking it about when I originally dropped everything off at Charlesworth !

Think it was because when i pulled away it had the extra bit of power on take off, so i didn't have to add more revs like i used to before the SC was fitted? was so much better though :thumbup1:

Going to be like driving a new car mate, handling and power = great fun

Looking forward to seeing it

Yeah it will want a wheel alignment if the suspension's been changed, it will have pulled all the bushes about etc...

I find since fitting my lightened flywheel it does need a bit more oomph to get going, but only because it's much easier to stall due to the lack of inertia.

The lightweight fly gives the feeling of more BHP also. But needs more RPM on hills etc.
