A quick update, after what has seemed like an eterntity of sorting out finances, ordering parts from Japan etc, things are now starting to move forward.

The first step is for Charlesworth to take apart the 1G-GTE Supra engine and have a look inside, see what state it's in etc (it's supposedly done 140K km, i.e. approx 90K miles, but then of course we don't know how well it has been serviced etc).

I'm ordering up some oil seals and a new head gasket, plus exhaust gaskets.

Also I need to source an intercooler now, since although Charlesworth used to have a spare one I could use, they don't have one any more. So I will be looking for one approximately the same size as the TTE one, from eBay I imagine.

I thought the TTE intercooler was one of the limiting factors in the TTE setup? My Slim one from the IC King on Ebay is apparently around 80% bigger than the TTE one for only £80 delivered. Wozza/Rabster's enlarged one is only £10 more though. Think i've got a leak from my IC (had a massive whack and only 0.2bar on boost guage) so may well buy Wozza's one.

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).

edeath I thought the TTE intercooler was one of the limiting factors in the TTE setup?
I don't recall hearing that, though I might have missed/forgotten something.

Charlesworth have done loads of TTE supercharger installations, and they say that the TTE intercooler will be fine for the kind of power I'm looking for.

Fair enough - they know better than me Smile

I've just ordered one of those same intercoolers that you've got Ed. Similar-ish size to the TTE one, just slightly bigger but not so big that it'll be complicated to install.
