Thanks for that ormi, didn't want to take pics in the rain myself! :thumbup1:

Think the shiny is a trick of the light myself, no way mine looks as shiny as that pic, almost compares with ormi's there! And that's just not right given the care he takes of his...

Right, that leaves the new wheels, the double-din stereo, the led sills and the crystal sidelights - I should be able to cope with most of that!

Looking forward to testing the ARBs on some twisty roads soon Big Grin

I blame Ormi for this... He talked me into buying them...

Hard to tell in the pic, but they're a rather deep purple, and are Tenzo springs that should give a 50mm (35mm on my Sport, I think) drop...

To Be Fitted:
18" 6 spoke Wheels (need refurb first though)
Lowering Springs
Double Din JVC KW-AVX810 Stereo
LED Sills
Crystal Sidelights...

Onwards and upwards! Big Grin

Yep, I do... and I even been sanding/spraying the fascia itself (got some hints off wozza on FB as well as the walkthrough thread on here and it's about as good as I'm likely to get it now)

The stereo seems essentially plug and play though, so I think I can maybe cope with fitting that. As I understand it, the stereo plugs into the bypass lead and the bypass lead goes into the amp? Sounds like something even I can cope with Big Grin

When do you think you will have the lowering springs on? Trying to decide whether to get them or some coilovers. Smile Get some more pics up of your car mate with the new bits on. Looking good!

I'll get the pics up when the bits are on James... thinking about having a bash at the stereo & sidelights tonight, since those seem within my level of competence Big Grin

Springs will have to wait for now, I want to refurb the new wheels and get them on first before the springs, so I can get the geo all done and hopefully not have to do it twice Smile

Wheels will probably be done in next few weeks, plus I have asked Ormi to order me a TRD rear lip from his work Smile

Trouble is it's already dark by the time I get home from work mate, so not a lot of opportunity to take pictures! There will be before/afters though for the bits I fit, wherever possible Big Grin

Well, as noted in the other thread, my side skirts have arrived:

These are stacked up in the garage and will get put in for painting once I get the rear lip <nudges ormi again to mind and order it> as no point in getting them done separately!

Sidelights are done, but I wasn't liking the orange bulbs since they defeated the point of the sidelights so I ordered the silver tipped bulbs. Unfortunately they arrived broken, so I had to send them back. Seller replaced them (in total 2 days turnaround from my asking about return to getting the new bulbs) plus as an apology for the broken bulbs in the first package included a couple of blue LEDs as well. No idea what I'd use them for, any suggestions?

Anyway, original sidelight:

Crystal light with orange bulb (so you see why I changed the bulbs out)

As they look now:

And finally a quick pic of the car after a wash:

Since that last pic I've put on Jase's aerial but no pics of that yet - figure you lot know what it will look like anyway!

To Be Done:
Spray & fit side and rear skirts
18" aero wheels (need refurb first)
LED Sills
Lowering Springs
Armrest (Bought from Mattlaw, on its way)
Stereo...

Actually I have a wee issue with the stereo - the fascia doesn't seem to fit quite right on the head unit; the internal clipping plastic bit doesn't fit over it...

Should I leave that bit out? As it'd leave a wee gap around the outside of the stereo - or should I try to trim down the internal clipping bit to fit the head unit?

I'll take some pics tonight to illustrate the point with the stereo.

I also took Chris's advice and have applied both Rain-X and Rain-X anti-fog.

Awesome stuff.

Here endeth the update!
