Just a little update, the car has had over the last month:

4x tyres
Brake pads
Is300 rear shocks (thanks jimxms)
MOT & tax
New rear drop link
Another years insurance

After all that I'm pretty skint and need to clear some crimbo credit cards.

But thought I would treat the car to an actual modification, wohoo!

I had some blue silicone pipes left over in the shed, the ones that supply the heater matrix, so stuck those on while try to fix my continuing heater problem.

Also managed another little mod, managed to finally find an altezza grill on eBay, was brand new boxed, so snapped it up. Only thing is its missing the red badge off the front. Gutted! So got to try source one of those. I know the silver bar grill isn't to everyone's liking, but I love it and been after one for ages.

Next up, need to get a spot of rust sorted, and a few other niggley jobs that have made me feel like I am in the middle of a restoration project recently!

But going to sort the paint work and wheels ready for summer.

My car is filthy at the min, will get it cleaned when there is a break in the weather and get some pics up of how it's looking at the min!

I paid £60 inc postage, which is quite steep, but I really wanted it, and it is brand new. Smile

I think it dropped by about 20-30mm. Just noticeable.
I have got some sport front shocks now, so when I have a free weekend I'll get them swapped over too.
Going to get a full tracking/geo set up done too. Smile

Dean, I also saw the grill on a few US car's, and prefer it to be honest. Going to order a badge, but might just spray it gloss black.

Liking the looks of the car at the min, I got a unsealed front headlight, that needs polishing and resealing. And I want some plain number plates. Then it's just a case of getting it into a body shop to sort the stone chips and small spots of rust. O and wheels callipers and disks need painting too.

Although I have been looking on auto trader recently. Anyone seen the price you can pick up a GS430 at the min. Very tempting!

Been well over a year since I updated this!

Spent most the year fixing problems, pretty much replaced all the waterworks everything bar the pump.

Although i have fitted a full set of drilled and grooved discs and mintex pads. Also had the tracking done.

Just put a full set of maxis ma-z1 tyres too.

Although over the last twelve months this has felt like its gone from modifying project to a restoration project! I only have three things to sort before its back in full working order.

So new power steering pump, and a friend is going to help sort the body work where it's starting to show its age!
Then while doing cambelt I need do rocker and crank gasket.

Hopefully this should all be sorted for summer. Then going to get back to modding! Aiming to get some coilovers around may/June time.

Anyone got any suggestions?
