Anyway no mod updates lately still messing around with the p0420 Eml code!
anyway just gutted my cat today wasnt the best so just got it out wasnt doing anything!.
anyway i think its been a month or 2 since i put bonnet spacers on and OMG im sick of people telling me i forgot to shut my bonnet!
Lexus bonnet dosent open that way so not sure what they thinking
but in traffic i like having windows open nearly everytime i go out i will be in traffic or even driving along " hey! mate you in the lexus, do you know youve left your bonnet up!"
today coming home from collage on the motorway i had a lorry driver beeping like crazy and trying to signal me as we both driving 70mph, the way he was acting i though my car was on fire or somat it not till after a bit of him beeping and signaling me that i finaly got what he meant!
Signaling frantically your bonnets open! n me just looking at him like i know dont worry!
hope can get my code fixed and then can get my gearbox off and change the clutch.
if any one got any tips or pictures to help guide me will be much appriciated!

well its just my girlfriend was in the car and was telling me to pull over to she thought he ment my cars was on fire! lol
she was like "pull over NOW" "if your car is on fire i dont wanna blow up!"
So final got the clutch changed! akward as hell! on my own on drive but got it done!
worst bit was the starter motor top bolt. Bell housing top bolts with like 2-3 foot extension to the gear stick position and just having ratchet and sitting in car and being able to get full force on it but stater bolt was bit to side so socket wasnt on fully at the hole in car so did it underneath put couldnt get my power behind it.
got a few pics but not as many as i would have liked but having a gearbox resting on my chest didnt want to take pics!

I didnt have a clutch align tool just used a 17mm long socket and aligned it perfect!

After having gearbox out it making me want to take engine out n do a swap? not sure tho want somat not to complicated for my 1st go, so not sure thinking of 3sge from altezza but power i got now it guna be same, but its just i wana do an engine swap myself, i enjoy working on my car not to fussed over power, or 1jz but that guna be harder? early thoughts but think this is next thing wanna do.

What puts me off an engine swap is the custom work/welding and the wiring! Also the constant thought in the back of my head of "what if it doesn't start when I'm finished and I can't find the problem?" LOL
Glad to see I'm not the only one who is stupid enough to change the clutch on his drive at home! LOL I had the same problems as you! Starter motor and top gearbox bolts!
