Did you say yesterday that you had a problem with your gear lever, or am I thinking of something else ?

11-05-2017, 12:39 PM #3yea the gear lever needed welding together after it stuck in 5th and broke, causing the clutch to slip a lot, thus causing the failure!! but nothing to do with the nose cone, i will find out tomorrow its just that I don't like spending money on things that I don't know about.

11-05-2017, 04:40 PM #4ok, just wondered if the gear lever problem was connected with the nose cone. Let us know what it is when you find out ! I know what you mean though, I'd want to know what it was, what had happened to it and why.

13-05-2017, 08:19 AM #8yea the part is the front bearing retainer. This has failed, causing the clutch release bearing to get fowled up on the clutch cover plate and they all self destructed.

Bummer though Phil, do you know if the flywheel survived ? Got an ETA for the new parts and getting it back on the road ?
