There's actually a lower arm number 2 as well which is connected to number 1 but when I've tried to find this from suppliers it doesn't come up.

There are 2 arms, as pictured:

<diagram removed>

LOWER ARM NO 1 is the one that the balljoint bolts onto (labeled as 48068/48069)
LOWER ARM NO 2 is the trailing one with the massive bush (hurr hurr) on the end (labeled as 48068E/48069A)

Note that these numbers are PNC numbers not part numbers so you can't use them to order the parts.

Confused... Lexus know them as lower arms 1 and 2 because that's what they are called. That's how I've referred to them on the diagram as well?

Right I've just been on the phone to lexus bolton and have been told that apparently arm number 2 isn't available from any shop in copy form and I have to get an original apparently. I don't know how much of this is true but they want 130+vat which for a metal bar is a ****** rip off!!

That sounds about right. Mine are bent and I got quoted a similar price. You could take the risk with a non accident damaged breaker (like Jasons on here?) but to be honest 5+ years of pothole abuse is going to have taken its toll on the bars.

So is your wheel back in the arch a bit then that you know they are bent?
