How are things progressing with this project? I'd be happy as a start, just to get the button located and working as a start the car button, even having to put the key in the ignition. It would still impress the kids

HI mate you can wire just the button in if you locate the wires that create a link when pushed, you can use that to crank the ignition but you would have to put the key in and select the start location then push button to crank.

HI mate you can wire just the button in if you locate the wires that create a link when pushed, you can use that to crank the ignition but you would have to put the key in and select the start location then push button to crank.
However
in doing this you are mearly taking the effot from turning the key to start the car to apush button
the system that i am testing now (with no fault or issues yet) has tach learning and works via the brake being pushed down then it activates the start circuit....
if you are cofident with cutting wires and using the relevant tools not to hard
