Breaking my IS200 'Demons'
What i can do is take the pipe off the car and bring it here to my work. If its not fixable what i can do is simply make you a new pipe from scratch! I have some copper brake line from the kit car lying about and i can bend up a new line for you with the fixings i have, if thats any help mate? Won't charge you for doing it, just for the parts and postage, which shouldn't be much to be honest! What side is it thats damaged? drivers or passengers?

its the drivers side mate.
the problem is the 10mm Nut is rounded the pipe on mine is fine its the Nut that connects the to the new Brake Lines is trashed.
i had a play with the one on the car and they seem pretty flexiable so fingers crossed but yeah if you can make a new one that will be grand mate thanks alot

the problem is the 10mm Nut is rounded the pipe on mine is fine its the Nut that connects the to the new Brake Lines is trashed.

Yes i know which bit you mean, its the end fitting thats on the pipe. The problem is that the end fittings are actually part of the pipe. You can't get the end fittings off without cutting the pipe. So you will need a new section of pipe with end fittings on before you can even think about replacing the brake lines. You could just leave them as is and sell the braided lines on, however if you ever get a split brake pipe later on then it will all need changing anyway so IMHO your better off doing it now. I will try and get the pipe off mine on saturday and get pictures of it so you will see what i mean.

im gonna give lexus a call anyway to see how much they are aswell and will let you know the results of that conversation
heres the part number for Ref 47312-53021 Tube Front Brake No2 £14.70 + Vat
should be able to pick it up on thursday so fingers crossed
