The Rays are on :)
The Rays are on :)
jimxms From what I can tell, the fronts are rubbing on the little plastic rivet that holds the arch liner in place. I've seen a few posts on how to bend that back, so I'll have to sort that one weekend.
Looking good mate, bet your glad thats over with

Both my Supras have big wide wheels and tyres on the rears, they're both autos and they will both spin them if you're not paying attention. Especially common if you're pulling away at an angle or in the wet .. and yes wide tyres does not make for safer in the wet at all.

I don't skimp on rubber .. ever .. that would be suicide in a turbo'd supra .. even good tyres on standard wheels in a rear wheel drive, front engine car will spin if you don't show it respect. In the dry my big wheels and wide tyres do stick well although it's a different driving style at roundabouts and bends .. but in the wet even my NA supra will show her feistiness.
I'd never 'skimp' as such. My current rubber is Avon ZZ3 which a lot of people seem to rate really high for wet weather. Costs about £85 a corner.
However, when you see tyres that are up to and above £200 a corner, does make me wonder how much better they are.
I've heard lots of good things about those Avons too And I agree you can pay a fortune for names and it not necessarily mean better. You don't want my tyre bill lol .. on my wheels on my supras, the rears are £285 and the fronts £250. It's not just the make though, its the width that costs as well as the special technical things you need on a supra (all those letters that go with the tyre size to do with weight and performance and lodes and stuff I don't comprehend and dont want the stress of trying to lol)
I absolutely love everything about your rims mate. The size, offset, color and design. Perfect choice!

jimxms Cheers mate:thumbup:I would gladly swap mine for yours but if I were you I'd definitely keep those lovely Rays
Funnily enough, I only found these after spending several months looking for a set of the L-Tuned SS7's like yours
