Dave's IS200 Sport
Well got an odd package in the post on Friday - looked a bit like a coffin, so you can imagine I was taking precautions before I opened it in case someone had posted me a pygmy vampire. Unlikely as it seems you can never quite be sure what PurpleWitch has done...
Here's the coffin:
So, I made sure I was prepared:
but on opening it wasn't a pygmy vampire, it was even better... It was the blueflame exhaust I bought off Chris
For unintended perspective on the size of the thing, check out the remote in the vicinity
Under that was the rest of the pipe:
Just had a FB message from Chris to say that according to ParcelForce's tracking, the exhaust will be delivered on Monday... Good to know they're on top of things as per usual!!
Gord  @ the exhaust on the bed Davethe wife would kill me if i did anything like that
Bandit  can't believe she lets you eat Pot Noodles in bed matehock: :laugh:
Does it make the bed any faster

Cars coming on very well now mate :thumbup1:
Might be a good idea to get a new set of gaskets for the exhaust matey, i got a set off ebay for not many £'s and they made a nice tight seal when i fitted mine :thumbup1:
These are the ones i got CLICK ME? And this one CLICKY ME?
And this one CLICKETY CLICK ME?
Just have to make sure the last one is a 2.5" and not the 3"version as i can't remember for the blueflame??
Cheers for that Chris
I was going to get new gaskets anyway (Ormi said it was a good idea in his post on replacing the backbox), very handy to have direct links!
The last one says it's 2.5" in the ad title, did you mean than you can't remember if the blueflame needs a 3" or not? I can measure it........if someone can point out which bit of which pipe I should be measuring
I got some silicone sealant the other week and resealed the headlights I got from Demon, had a bit of time yesterday afternoon, so I figured I'd give fitting them a bash as it didn't look a difficult job. You only have to take out 3 bolts and jiggle the light unit off the clips...
No surprise then that I couldn't get it done. My toolkit consists of a ratchet screwdriver and a torch, and the bolt on the top of the light was somewhat resistant... The ratchet bit of the screwdriver broke without loosening the bolt at all. This is what you get for buying any tools you own from Sainsburys...
This morning I found a few hours spare, so I bought a set of slightly better tools from Hellfrauds and had another go. Bearing in mind it's as simple as I said above, you could estimate a half hour or so to get the whole thing done. Multiply that by three to get how long it took me...
But - it's done, and I managed it myself (always good, given I'm totally hopeless - just ask Ormi, he'll confirm it!!)

I like the new look
looking good Dave, So when is the blueflame getting fitted ?
