Any coolant in upper radiator hose on IS300?
Any coolant in upper radiator hose on IS300?
Poo'd myself a little when the temperature gauge didn't move when I started the car up though. Guessing it needed to pressurise or something as after driving slowly round the block it returned to normal.

Coolant is filled to the top of the rad and a little way into the top tank, but its not quite high enough to flow across the top pipe. However If the top pipe was 'full' then it'd be coming out of the rad cap I think.

Well I installed it. Lost about half a shot glass of coolant in the process. I'm guessing thats no biggie, but I'll buy some anyway to top it up.

have the heater on max hot also.
i suspect when at service they didnt bleed it properly.
If you have a steep hill near you even better, have the car pointing up hill and it helps to shift any trapped air
start the engine and then slowly fill the rad to the top, also fill the expansion tank at the rear to full (viewing window is at the rear).
