The sound is magnificent when you hit the cam lift at 6,200 RPM, sounds such a good deep growl, not chavvy either!

28-03-2019, 05:15 PM #11Did the next mod today, modified our standard air box, cut it all away to house our old K&N filter, went from this, where you can see the standard air box on the right hand side above the battery:

And ended up now, like this:

either that or you buy a universal apexi filter(same pipe size as the k&n)then sell the k&n complete?? apexi filters are around £35 upwards

Rex, the manifold has a weird finish to it, it's like a crackled matte type finish, don't think it would polish up?

it looks like it could be machined down with a dremmel ask jason or chris, im sure they will know a trick or 2

apexi would prob be better and cheaper mate..

28-03-2019, 06:35 PM #20Yes Stav, that's for the MAF sensor, I only took pictures before the MAF sensor and all vacuum tubing was back on, but that hole isn't there now
