Is anyone able to give me the height/width of the visible area on the smaller 5.5" nav screens? I'm not sure what aspect ratio they are to work it out for myself (assume 3:2?).

I want to mount boost/wideband gauges in the screen area. So switch on the car and up pop the gauges Big Grin

Yeah the HKS does look very tempting, though it seems like to get it to monitor all the things I want I'll need lots of extra bits that aren't included and I've already frazzled my brain trying to work out what gauges/pod etc I want to use (well still not 100% decided).

Alternatively I could grab a Zeitronix Zt-2 and connect its serial port up to a car-pc, then use their software to display various dials etc on a tft.

I suppose it boils down to cost and whether i can really be arsed. Waiting for my S/C has me on a downer at the mo and I'm ready to throw my toys out the pram.

Have you spoken to Sumo or Thor? They seem pretty well equiped to deal with such a conversion. And think they will be around for a while too, so you got some come back if things didn't go as planned??
