OK so im "looking" at the option of putting a turbo on the beast my engine is the RB25de

i would possibly use a standalone ecu as long as a company is happy to work on the Stagea considering the wiring diagrams are hard to come by it seems

anyone know how hard this might be ?

Thought about that but mine has only just done 80k which for a car that was made in 1997 is very good lol so thought it's better to bolt on the turbo etc from a different turbo engine....

Sell it and buy the tubby version.
You may make a profit if you tidy this one up a bit with your paint restoration skills.

Could you not just run on fairly low boost with a piggyback? Maybe even buy a cheap ebay turbo rather than going full out?

^ or do as others have said?

Engine swap, all day. The turbo engine will be lower compression with all the piston, squish and VE calculations done right.
