Still haven't got round to doing this myself either! But I was planning to run one wire out of the ignition barrel, put the fuse and diode on this and then split that to the two strips - will that not work?

Mine and woz are done as parthiban stated the diode must be installed to stop power being fed back into the mpx controll when the doors are shut both wires on the ignition illumination are at +12v open the door and one goes to ground thus making the circuit required diode and fuse must go on the 12v constant feed

Lol, and the weather isn't helping!

Good question about the wire, although I think the strips I have have quite a lot of wire attached, can I just cut off some of the excess and use that?

I'm sure this guide is very good, but it would be better if the picture links still worked!

Is the OP still around to fix it?

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

Try a PM to the original poster.

Though it is not that hard to do without the pics. You can make brackets however you like, I will probably just use cable ties! Other than that, it is just a case of wiring into the ignition ring, which may involve extending the wires. I will try to take pics when I get round to mine and will post them then.
