I don't know if you decided on the HIDs, but everyone who has them (a reckon a pretty large percentage of this forum) pretty much swears by them, it's not so much the look of the car, but the visibility it gives you at night is far greater than any non-HID bulbs can (legally) generate.
I happen to have a set spare, and can let you know when I am a paid up member of the forum, in a week or so, as then I will be able to officially offer them up for sale. (Which I am not doing at this time, OK mods?) If you decide to go down that route, of course. I also want to test them before offering for sale (no reason they wouldn't work, but I like to be sure) and do not yet have an IS to plug them into! At that point I will also be a Jap car driver, and feel obliged to become a proper Outlaw!
