i cant believe i have just seen you polishing your car:ohmy: looks awesome mate keep up the good work mate and i will pop round and have a better look soon.

Cheers Dazols.
Hey all. Been a while, I have been collecting bits with scraps of money I make.
Anyhoo..here is a list of bits I have to install.
1. 4.5 inch tailpipe to be fitted, and the mid silencer removed.
2. Infinity Kappa 6 x 9s
3. 12mm spacers for 6 x 9s
4. In-Phase 17cm woofers with MB Quart tweeters and active crossover.
5. In-Phase 4 channel amp to power front and rear speakers.
6. Brand new amp wiring kit.
7. Relocate car's microphone to behind the rearview mirror.
8. -40mm springs to be fitted.
Seen as I am busy doing 3 people's jobs, I will not be fitting the springs. So, my trusty mechanic Mad Mike @ Cyclone Motorsport will do the springs and exhaust while I work. I will have his rally Pug 205 for the day. Woo.
Now that I have all the audio bits, I will just do them on a sunday (maybe this weekend or next).
Next month, MOT and geo.
Month after, heater control LEDs maybe and HIDs.
Month after that, Baby seat and Pram.
I will post pics of my progress, and I will try and get stages of the install.
Cheers.
Jason.
Sure will do.
The eBay seller contacted me today. I will meet him after work on Saturday. Not bad for £12 eh!
I was gonna fit them on Sunday if everything else turns up on time, but I forgot I will be cheering Jensen, Lewis and Paul DiResta on for the Grand Prix so you might have to wait until next week.
That ok?
@Rabster - Sorry, would love to come to Brands, but too short notice, and I don't want to show the car off until it is worth it. Needs a good polish etc...once I change it from my trusty chariot to my CAR people will see it.
Thanks man.
With the tweeters, I just hope they fit the existing housing. Now I neet to think where to mount the amplifier lol.
Dinho Jay when you get your new 6x9's fitted let me know how much of an improvement the sound is, as I will be upgrading mine soon myself and running them off an amp.

Totally agree with you.
I have always had 2 components up frront, and a sub. This time round, because baby is on the way I do not want a sub if I can help it. also, the 6 x 9s will only be running 100hz and below, and at around 30% gain so most of the sound will come from the front.
The 6 x 9's will literally be bass speakers and I will tune this with the amp. I tend to run my head units flat, and use just amps or external EQ's.
I will let you all know how I get on.
