Marsdendean Its pointless running without the FCD anyway, as you cant really hit any decent boost.
I installed mine and was dark (ask gord, he came to the rescue!) and didn't install the fcd, just to get me home. as soon as you hit 4000rpm on more than half throttle its like hitting a wall, it just goes into limp mode until you get of the throttle.
Just get it installed correctly and you will love it!!
Running without either a TTE black box or an FCD is a very silly thing to try anyway. The ECU will spaz out if it sees that much boost. (As I know all too well from when my black box broke on me.)
Did the original poster have any joy finding the part? I may have one. I'm not using it at the mo, though I would probably need it back, it can be borrowed for reference.

Nah mate, the guy was a complete tool and didnt come back to me, and after a few phonecalls/texts I just gave up on him!
If I could borrow yours that would help me out no end!!
