Lexuspat looks very good will have to do this myself when i get chance how much was the kit mate
it was something around 40 euros. can't say if its little bit overpaid 'cause i think u can get the clarifying compound bigger amounts with less money and then u need only sandpaper.
but this whole light restoration scenario was new for me so this worked just fine
thinking about doing this to my vento (jetta III) with bare water+sanding paper and finish with clarifying compound+blanket.

I put some on a piece of kitchen paper that was nearly dry and rub it on my lights and it got very sticky so keep adding a tiny amount of water spray.
The tooth paste goes very sticky and dry wash of with warm water and see the results..
Now who going to try this out...Lets see you before and after pics
Guys try using toothpaste Rabs was round my house and we had heard that tooth paste works but thought it a old wife tale.

If your lenses need more then try this
I was doing straight back and forth motions.
Started with 1000 Grit.
Move up to 1500 Grit.
Then onto 2000 Girt.
Last step was Plastix this hopefully will bring your lens back to it formal glory.

infact the other lens needs more, like i said other one is brand new so the difference is HUGE w/e the result of this kit was great. I think i give this a try, and give the fogs some cleaning at the same time.
PS: My friend (detailer) said that best way on wetsanding is to make back and forth motions (like u said), but with smallest grit up and down and onto the next grit switch motion 90 degrees and go left and right and keep it that way on the remaining grits.
