need some advice about new phone , urgent !!
I'm with orange , I sent my phone back today and I've got to make up my mind by Thursday to which one to get . So its between a Galaxy S2 and an HTC desire S or the HTC Sensation
2tongues For a phone that will be used one week out of a month a smart phone will be a waste surly?

If those are your choices then ignore the Desire S as the Galaxy S2 and the Sensation are both significantly better...
Heard a lot of good things about both, but not messed about with either...
The S2 imho is the best phone available currently (including the iPhone 4). So if within budget, that's the one to get. The sensation should cost about the same as the S2, and between the two the S2 wins hands down.
The Desire is a good cost saving alternative.
Just out of curiosity why did you go for the LG?
I've had a LG for years and when I was due to upgrade I did not have the internet to have a look at them so just went for a newer LG. I dont know what phone I'll be entitled to but I'll push my luck to get a good one

Stoney Not just your opinion mate. Best selling smart phone in the UK at the mo. I've had one from launch week. I have played with the Sensation too, it is a good bit of kit, and I'm sure you would be happy with it. However my money would still be on the similarly spec'd S2, as the graphics chip is better, it has a bit more RAM and is slimmer and lighter in your hand (and pocket). However it's biggest strong point is the Super-AMOLED Plus screen, so much brighter and more vibrant than ANYTHING else available, a lot more viewable in bright sunlight too.

So the S2 is winning so far
just for your info Moley you do not have to make a decision by thursday (however they may have said that if they have offered you a specific loyalty), you can ask them to cancel the upgrade (once they have received the returned handset) for the time being and they can completely re-instate your upgrade status, meaning you are not re-signed into the new term, but are still connected, then you can take your time about picking a new handset and re-sign a new term when you have made your decision, you still then have the choice of where you upgrade to get a good deal, whether thats direct, thru carphone, phones4u etc...
