Phil01 Ive been watching this live on BBC news and a couple of favourite quotes from a few rioters that had been interviewed by the media,,
"I blame the government, as they do not give us what we want and can not afford-so we go out and smash a shop up and take trainers, mobile phones and what else we can get"
The government does not turn you into a criminal.
"This is all one sided, why do you pick on the black man and only report and show us on TV, pick on the white man as well"
Bullshit, I have seen plenty of Caucasians helping themselves to loot on TV.
"we are only out here to show the people in power we want equality and get whats owed us"
No one owes you anything,you are drain on society that is exactly what you are.
Now that is the mentality of the scum out there and after last nights viewing they really did have control and ran riot with out any interception from the police, infact they just stood back and let them get on with it.
One particulat news shoot really pi$$ed me off,,,, a group of about 5-6 respectful white males around 20-25yrs old were obviously trying to evade the situation walked quickly pass a group of riot police, two coppers then hit this group with there batons hard to hurry them along, wtf, they were trying to get out of the trouble and get home but the rioters were left to carry on with the rampage.
This is the end result of 13 years of state handouts and freebies from the previous incompetents who were only too happy to dish out taxpayers money in an attempt to create a state dependant,work shy,immigrant led electorate.
Tough sh*t, the money has ran out and they are going to have to do what the rest of us have down all of our adult lives,get off their arses, find a job and start paying their way in life.
Please don't get me started on the bankers and their ilk.

Its all pathetic, its got nothing to do with the shooting, there was a peaceful march after the shooting in which a police man was meant to have hit a women with a batten and it all kicked off from there.......the rest of the scum across london are all opportunists and will carry on doing it until the police grow a pair or the army come out.....oh hang on they are all fighting pointless wars elsewhere :glare:

Beat a man up then help him to his feet while others stole things out of his backpack! Absolute low of low ! I think like someone said before they should bring in cannons / rubber bullets , give a warning and anyone hit well it's their own problem ! Odd hearing things about London considering I'm from Belfast and it's usually here that the riots take place ! I hope it calms down soon and you all stay safe !

Live near Clapham Junction but can't imagine they will hit there again tonight. They did attack the 2 mobile phone stores in Balham where I live but only them. It shows they are just out to rob places really......this isn't rioting its just mass organised theivery.

I agree with Stav and Moley at the same time. We should hacve national service but like an quite a few countries allow them the choose from all 3 branches of the armed forces or the police, fire brigade or ambulance service. That way they do not have to choose fighting in a war.

selfless commitment,
courage,
respect for others,
integrity,
loyalty
and discipline.
Because the theory being that they wont turn into the societies problem children because they have something to study for or aim for. No a life of nothing but handouts,

I would encourage them to go to University or an apprenticeship. I went into an apprenticeship and its the best thing i did, much happier i did that rather than University.

It all stems from their upbringing, weak parenting skills allow children to become feral, if there is no discipline at home and no respect for their own families then they will never respect anyone and more importantly the authority of the law.
When you say the Army can beat them,do you mean physically?
If a soldier raises his/her hands, except in self defence, he/she is finished. They will be Court Martialled for assault and if proven guilty, their career is as good as over.
What was common many decades ago in the Army is now not acceptable.
The up-shot (excuse the pun) of the Deepcut suicides was the establishment of the Army Staff Leadership School, where all future instructors attend in order to develop their own personal skills to get the best out of the young recruits who they will be responsible for.
Maybe there should be a similar set up for parents.

You are correct.
In an environment where there is leadership,guidance,experience,knowledge and boundaries, you find your place very quickly.
Boot camps are not the way forward, however as mentioned earlier, some form of service to the country would in time bring this country around.
For every little scrote out there looting and causing mayhem, there are 10 who are making a difference, whether they be cadets,scouts, Boys Brigade or some other youth organisation who are moulding the next generations.
