Yeah exactly right - plus he had a gun. Whether he made the first shot or not, in my book the police had the right to shoot him.
This is getting stupid, I don't get why the law abiding citizens and business have to suffer to protect the "rights" of these mindless thugs.
Rubber bullets have to be brought on to the scene, and possibly the army.
