Lexuslady Yea I see a lot of cars with the blue headlights and i don't like it , sticking to the bright whites ! Numberplate lights should be here on wed ! Fingers crossed lol !
I have 6000k and by the sound of it that may be what you want? A very slight tinge of blue, but primarily white. Lower temp, like 4300k may illuminate the blue completely, if you wanted to go for the purest white available, though I believe 6000k and 8000k are the most common ones fitted these days. (After market fitted that is, some OEM ones are 4300k.)
Which bulbs did you get for the pates? I am about to order some and was wandering which type of bulb to get.
EDIT: When I say "type" I do not mean the fitment, more the arrangement of the LEDs.

I put SMDs in the sidelights recently and was very impressed. Will be doing every bulb I can! Rears, reversing, interior etc. Do you know how to fit the number plate lights? It's not as easy as you might assume, from memory!
