Not hids, I do have those but they're not connected directly to the battery...
They've definitely been added by a previous owner, I've never wired anything to the battery. And (so far as I know) there are no extra gadgets in the car using it...
I'll try and take a look later on and get a picture of where the leads go in the engine bay though...

I've not fitted my led sills yet, those are coming to jae with me though (and those get wired into the door or ignition barrel if I remember right?)

Mikey is200/s13 i say hands free kit for mobile phone mines got a wire like that and it did have a phone kit when i bought the car

possibly not, it could be HID's or horns as the wire will run to a relay.
my original HID kit worked like that, the light circuit just switched the relay but the power came direct from the battery,
