Do you need a PCV valve?
Does the IS200 need the PCV valve, or can I just vent to atmosphere with a breather filter installed?
If it is ok to run without, will I then have to plug the pipe going into the inlet tract?

I think if you intend to remove it, you should have it go to a catch can, which is then in turn vented to atmos.
I don't think you 'need' one as such considering many boosted IS300 peeps have removed them entirely without ill effect. But I certainly wouldn't put a breather on the end as any oil will just back up in the filter.

I had mine plumbed into my induction kit, and it dumped a load of oil into the back of my charger! Catch can is the way to go.

Experience from other cars lead me to believe what has been suggested already, but I just needed confirmation really

Ormi, yours is plumbed like mine was, do you not find oil is pushed into the induction kit and into the intake of the charger? I don't know that this causes any real problems? But I didn't like the look of it!

Compressing oil can never be a good thing I don't think. I suppose it might not be _so_bad for the TTE Chargers as they are twin screw type aren't they? it's more damaging to impeller driven compressors where the oil can be enough to damage the fins when they're spinning at a billion RPMs
